At Docketry, your privacy isn't just a policy—it is the foundational engineering principle of our software. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website, tools, and services.

1. Client-Side Processing Guarantee

Unlike traditional online converters, Docketry does not transmit the contents of your generated documents to our servers.

• All form data you enter (employee names, PAN numbers, salaries, company details) is processed locally within your web browser using JavaScript.
• The final PDF is compiled on your local device and saved directly to your hard drive.
• We literally do not have access to, and cannot read, the personal identifiable information (PII) you place inside your HR documents.

2. Information We Do Collect

To operate our SaaS model and enforce quota limits, we collect the following minimal metadata:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication tokens if you create a free or Pro account.
• Usage Telemetry: We log the type of document generated (e.g., "Salary Slip"), the timestamp, and the user ID to enforce the 3-document monthly free-tier limit. We do not log the contents of that document.
• Payment Information: Processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Docketry service.
• Process transactions and send related information (invoices, receipts).
• Enforce pricing tiers and prevent abuse of the free tools.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time via your Account Settings. Account deletion immediately purges your email, usage history, and preferences from our active databases.
